“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” – George Bernard Shaw
Hi! My name is Hunada, and I am the Clinical Director and Founder of Zein Mindcare. The practice is named after the Arabic word Zein, meaning “good, kind, and benevolent.” It reflects my commitment to compassionate, empowering, culturally attuned mental health care, offered in both English and Arabic.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Virginia and Texas. I work with teens, young adults, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood challenges, PTSD, ADHD, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I also work with organizations, providing leadership coaching, workplace wellness, and consultation to help teams build resilience, foster psychological safety, and work more effectively together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, tailored to each client’s unique journey. I became a therapist because I believe in the quiet power of being heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I’ve seen how the right space—combining compassion, cultural awareness, and clinical skill—can lead to profound transformation.
In our work together, you will find a safe and supportive space to explore patterns, build coping skills, and develop new ways of relating. The goal is to move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion, reconnecting with your sense of self along the way.
On a personal note, I’m an avid reader, curious, and passionate about creating a gentle space where my clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I believe healing is a journey best traveled with kindness, patience, and respect—and I’m honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
At Zein Mindcare, we believe that healing begins in spaces that are safe, gentle, and deeply human. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about honoring your story, rediscovering your strength, and creating space for healing, growth, and renewal. We meet each client with compassion, cultural humility, and evidence-based care tailored to their unique journey. Here, your voice matters, your pain is held with care, and your healing unfolds at your own pace.
Core beliefs that influence how we listen, support, and empower individuals, couples, and organizations throughout their mental health journey.
We create a gentle space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
We respect and honor each client’s identity, experiences, and background.
We foster resilience, helping individuals discover their strengths and potential.
We welcome people from all walks of life into a safe and supportive space.
We equip clients with the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
We approach therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional regulation, stronger relationships, or a deeper connection with yourself, we walk alongside you—not in front of you.
Your pace, your story, and your values guide the work we do together.
From the very first session, you can expect to be met with warmth, respect, and intention. We work with youth (16+), young adults, and couples—supporting those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, identity exploration, and relational challenges. Therapy is offered in both English and Arabic, and we strive to create an inclusive, culturally attuned space where you feel safe to show up fully as you are.
We don’t rush the process. Instead, we listen deeply, reflect gently, and support you in building the insight and resilience needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.
At Zein Mindcare, we accept a variety of insurance plans, including:
Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare.
If your insurance provider is not in-network with us, services may still be covered under your out-of-network benefits. In this case, you would pay the session fee upfront and may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company.
To support your reimbursement process, we’re happy to provide you with a monthly “superbill”—a detailed invoice that includes the necessary information for submitting out-of-network claims.
